DocStar is a single AI-powered knowledge base that serves both your customers (FAQs, help articles) and your team (internal documentation). 


LOGO and THEMES

To make your documentation truly branded, add a logo and theme:

  1. Open the features menu and choose Logo and Theme.

  2. For the logo:

    • Upload an image file or enter a URL.

    • The logo will appear on the sidebar and in the browser tab.

  3. For the theme:

    • Choose a color theme for the API documentation.

    • Note: Themes are only visible for API documentation.

After adding the logo and theme, don’t forget to click Save to apply your changes!

HEADER AND FOOTER

Enhance your documentation’s appearance with custom headers and footers to leave a lasting impression. Headers and footers frame your content, giving it structure and professionalism.

How to Add and Customize Header & Footer

  1. A block for adding the header code will appear.

    • Scroll down to find the block for the footer code.

  2. Beside these blocks, you can preview how your header and footer will look.

  3. After customization, scroll to the bottom and click Save.

BULK PUBLISH

Publish Multiple Documents in One Click!

Bulk Publish allows you to publish multiple documents, pages, and even entire collections at once, saving time and effort. Instead of publishing items one by one, you can select exactly what you want to make public in a structured and efficient way.

Hierarchy-Based Publishing

Clicking on a higher-level item automatically selects everything beneath it.

✔ If you select a collection, all pages, subpages, and their versions within that collection will be included.
✔ If you select a main page, all its subpages will be published along with it.
