Logo, Theme and Fonts

Give your docs site your brand's look: a title, logo, favicon, colors, corner style and fonts. You can also choose which parts of the page readers see.

All of these settings are in one place:

  1. Open the collection and click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Open the Theme & Customization tab.
  3. Make your changes.
  4. Click Save at the bottom. Changes are saved and published right away.

Homepage title

Under Add HomePage Title, enter the heading shown at the top of your landing page. If you leave it empty, readers see "How can we help?". In a blog collection this field is called Add Blog Heading. If you leave it empty, the heading is hidden.

#

Logo and favicon

  • Add logo: paste a link to your logo image in Enter Logo URL. The logo appears in the sidebar and the browser tab.
  • Add Favicon: click the upload icon and choose a PNG, ICO or SVG file. The favicon appears in the browser tab. Use the remove button to clear it.

Tip: use a logo with a transparent background so it works in both light and dark mode.

#

Theme and colors

Under Theme Selection, choose how your site looks:

Option What readers get
System Light or dark, following each reader's device setting.
Light Always light.
Dark Always dark.
Custom Your own colors.

With Custom, two more settings appear:

  • Add background color, with an Opacity setting.
  • Add text color.

Use the reset icon next to a color to go back to the default.

For API collections there is also Add Theme. The color you pick there is used for all buttons in your API documentation.

Corner radius

Under Select border radius, pick No Radius, SM, MD, LG or XL, or type your own value in px. It applies to cards, buttons and other rounded elements across the site.

#

Fonts

Under Fonts, choose a font for Headings and a font for Content Font. Search the list to find a font. Each choice shows a live sample. The default is Inter.
